Panama will receive more than 500,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine

On July 20, Panama received 363,870 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine from the pharmaceutical Pfizer in alliance with Biotech.

On the other hand, the Government of the United States of America will donate Panama 500,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine also from the pharmaceutical Pfizer. The vaccines will be arriving on July 21, 2021.

With the new available vaccines, Panama will be able to advance with its vaccination schedule and vaccinate a great part of its population.
