Law No. 159 of August 31, 2020, creates a new special regime for the establishment and operation of multinational companies who provide manufacturing services.
The main objective of the law is to attract and promote investment in production process, employment, transfer of technology, making the Republic of Panama more competitive in todays’ global economy.
Additionally, this law offers a special tax regime to the companies that obtain the corresponding license and a special immigration regime for their foreign personnel.
